Federal Maritime Commission Amends Regulations for Ocean Transportation Intermediaries' Proof of Financial Responsibility

The Federal Maritime Commission has reduced the time frame for ocean transportation intermediaries to file proof of financial responsibility from two years to 120 days, after approval of their license application, to ensure compliance with new regulations.
