Administration on Children, Youth and Families Awards Fifty Supplemental Grants for Mentoring of Children of Prisoners Program

The Administration on Children, Youth and Families has awarded fifty supplemental grants totaling $5,733,115 to Fiscal Year 2006 Mentoring of Children of Prisoners grantees, supporting community-based programs that match children of incarcerated parents with caring adult mentors, in line with the President's goal of 100,000 mentor/mentee relationships by the end of FY 2008.
