HUD Proposes Rule to Expand Pet Ownership in Assisted Housing for Elderly and Persons with Disabilities

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has proposed a rule to revise its regulations on pet ownership in HUD-assisted housing for seniors and individuals with disabilities, aligning the exceptions for service animals with those in public housing programs.
