Hazard Education before Renovation of Target Housing; State of Utah Authorization Application

The State of Utah submitted a request to the EPA on October 13, 2006, to administer a program ensuring lead-based paint safety information is provided to target housing owners and occupants before renovations, in accordance with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). This program aims to reduce lead poisonings, particularly in children under 6, by providing guidance on precautions to avoid lead exposure during renovations.
