U.S. Navy Announces Intent to Prepare Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Home Port Facilities

The U.S. Department of the Navy is required to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) to assess the potential impacts of home porting three Nimitz-class aircraft carriers at Naval Air Station North Island, California, and to validate existing traffic mitigation measures.
