DOE Extends Comment Period for Revised Radioactive Waste Policy

The Department of Energy has extended the comment period for its revised proposed policy on implementing Section 180(c) of the Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982, allowing more time for public safety officials to comment on safe transportation and emergency response training plans.
