US Amends Imported Fire Ant Regulations to Restrict Movement Across 9 Counties and Entire State of South Carolina

The US Department of Agriculture has expanded quarantined areas to restrict the interstate movement of regulated articles from 9 counties in Arkansas, 3 in North Carolina, and 15 in Tennessee, as well as the entire State of South Carolina, in an effort to prevent the artificial spread of imported fire ants to noninfested areas of the US.
