EPA Proposes Nonattainment and Reclassification of Baton Rouge Ozone Area
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to determine that the Baton Rouge 8-hour ozone nonattainment area in Louisiana has failed to meet the national air quality standard, and if finalized, the area will be reclassified as a moderate nonattainment area, requiring the state to submit revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) revisions by a proposed schedule.
