FAA to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Replacement Airport Near Hailey, Idaho

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a new airport near Hailey, Idaho, to replace the existing Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN), which cannot meet FAA airfield design standards due to limited land and proximity to residences.
