NMFS Publishes Final Rule to Enhance Observer Safety and Efficiency

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has published a final rule to improve the safety of observers and streamline their deployment, aiming to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of fisheries observers in carrying out their duties under the Magnuson-Stevens Act and fishery management plans.
