EPA Proposes Approval of Connecticut's Revised Air Quality Implementation Plan to Address Interstate Pollution Transport
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (CTDEP) to address air quality issues related to interstate pollution transport. The revised plan meets the Clean Air Act requirements, which mandate that each state submit a SIP to prevent adverse effects on neighboring states' air quality.
