NMFS to Issue Permits for Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Collection in 2008

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) plans to issue various permits for collecting Atlantic Highly Migratory Species (HMS) in 2008, including Exempted Fishing Permits, Scientific Research Permits, Display Permits, and Chartering Permits. These permits will allow for limited collections of HMS in Federal waters for scientific data collection, public display, and chartering purposes.
