Electro-Optic Instruments, Inc. to Receive Exclusive Patent License for Fiber Optic Sensors from US Department of the Navy

The US Department of the Navy has announced its intention to grant Electro-Optic Instruments, Inc. a non-exclusive, revocable license to use and practice four or more fiber optic sensors for detecting sub-sonic, sonic, and ultra-sonic pressure waves, excluding medical applications, and one or more fiber optic pressure sensors for medical applications in the US and certain foreign countries, based on government-owned inventions described in several US patents and patent applications.
