CBP Mandates Electronic Cargo Manifests for Alaska Truck Carriers Through ACE System

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is mandating truck carriers in Alaska to submit electronic cargo manifests through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Truck Manifest System, starting at all land border ports in the state, as part of a phased rollout that began in previous ports. This requirement is based on the Trade Act of 2002 and aims to enhance cargo information transparency.
