Temporary Closure of Selected Public Lands in La Paz County, AZ

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lake Havasu Field Office is temporarily closing public lands in La Paz County, Arizona, to ensure public safety and prevent environmental damage during the Best in the Desert 2008 Parker 250 and 2008 Blue Water Resort and Casino Parker 425 Desert Races. The closure affects all public lands, including roads and highways within two miles of the designated race course.
