Army Plans Environmental Impact Statement for Fort McPherson Closure

The US Department of the Army plans to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the disposal and reuse of Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of the 2005 Base Closure and Realignment Commission's recommendations, with a closure deadline of September 14, 2011.
