Transfer of Duties of Former VA Board of Contract Appeals

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has removed provisions from its regulations regarding the former Board of Contract Appeals, allowing other hearing officials to handle certain salary offset matters. A new Civilian Board of Contract Appeals has been established within the General Services Administration (GSA) to resolve contract disputes between government contractors and executive agencies, taking over cases from the terminated VA Board of Contract Appeals.
