U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Introduces Amended Form I-9 and New Handbook for Employers

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is issuing a notice to introduce the newly amended Form I-9, which employers must use to verify the identity and employment authorization of newly hired employees. The amended form reflects current regulations and supersedes previous versions, with a grace period allowing employers to use the old form until December 26, 2007.
