FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 747-400 and 747-400D Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing a new airworthiness directive to address a potential safety issue with the power feeder wire bundle of the auxiliary power unit on certain Boeing Model 747-400 and 747-400D series airplanes, which could lead to a hydraulic fluid fire.
