USDA Adopts New Assessment Rate for Florida Citrus Growers

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for Florida citrus growers from $0.008 to $0.0072 per 4/5 bushel carton, effective for the 2007-08 fiscal period and beyond, to fund the Citrus Administrative Committee's expenses.
