EPA Extends Deadline for New Marine Engine Emission Standards

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the deadline for promulgating new emission standards for Category 3 marine engines, which are those with a per-cylinder displacement of 30 liters or more, from April 27, 2007 to an unspecified date, in response to recent advancements in technology and international cooperation.
