US Government Proposes Changes to Privacy Act of 1974 for Intern and Resident Information System (IRIS)

The US government is proposing modifications to the Intern and Resident Information System (IRIS) to expand disclosure of data to certain contractors and grantees, while deleting a routine use for constituent requests, and broadening disclosures to combat fraud and abuse in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
