EPA Raises Environmental Concerns Over Drought and Water Impacts, Requests Enhanced Monitoring and Compliance

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has expressed concerns about the potential environmental impacts of drought conditions on surface water and drinking water sources, and has requested that companies implement enhanced monitoring and compliance measures, including radiological monitoring of plant effluents and proper storage and disposal of radioactive waste.
