U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Announces Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Public Hearing for North Topsail Beach Shoreline Protection Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking public input on a proposal to nourish 11.1 miles of beachfront in North Topsail Beach, NC, to protect homes and infrastructure, and to reposition the New River Inlet channel, with a projected 3.21 million cubic yards of material needed for the project.
