Additional Funding for SCHIP Program to Address FY 2007 Shortfalls

The U.S. government is providing additional allotments to states to eliminate funding shortfalls in the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) for Federal fiscal year 2007, as mandated by the U.S. Troop Readiness, Veteran's Care, Katrina Recovery, and Iraq Accountability Appropriations Act, 2007.
