DoD Dependents Schools to Unify Special Education Services

The Department of Defense (DoD) school systems, including DoD Dependents Schools (DoDDS) and Defense Dependents Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS), will be required to provide consistent services and safeguards to children with disabilities, as mandated by the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), effective under a new rule codified at 32 CFR part 57.
