OPM Issues Interim Rule for FERS Spouse Annuity Reduction Factors

The Office of Personnel Management is updating the reduction factors for survivor annuities for the spouses of separated federal employees who die before they become eligible for unreduced deferred annuities under the Federal Employees' Retirement System Act of 1986, in line with the economic assumptions adopted by the Board of Actuaries.
