NRCS Reopens Public Comment Period for Wetlands Reserve Program Rule

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has reopened the public comment period for its Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) rule, which was amended to address concerns over the impact of changes to the program on restoration efforts, following the passage of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (2008 Act). The comment period will run for an additional 30 days.
