Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Submits Proposal for Revision of Radiation Safety Requirements for Irradiators Under Paperwork Reduction Act Review

The NRC has submitted a revision proposal for the collection of information related to radiation safety requirements for irradiators to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review. The proposal aims to update the existing regulations, which are required on an occasional basis, and is expected to impact approximately 75 irradiator licensees and 60 Agreement State licensees annually.
