Pennsylvania to Assume Regulatory Authority Over Nuclear Materials

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have signed an agreement allowing Pennsylvania to take over regulatory authority over certain nuclear materials, effective March 31, 2008, with approximately 650 licenses transferred to the state.
