NRC Approves License Amendment for Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has approved a license amendment to increase the maximum reactor power level at the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, owned by Luminant Generation Company, LLC, from 3458 megawatts thermal (MWt) to 3612 MWt at each unit, following a review of a request by the company and a public comment period that yielded no feedback.
