NRC Denies Petition for Rulemaking on Nuclear Power Plant Security
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has rejected a proposal by David Lochbaum, representing the Project on Government Oversight (POGO) and the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), to enhance the security of nuclear power plants against sabotage by adversaries with advanced capabilities, submitted on February 23, 2007.
