US Government Agencies Finalize Rule to Combat Human Trafficking in Federal Contracts
The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed to adopt a rule requiring federal contractors to include a provision that allows the government to terminate contracts if the contractor or subcontractor engages in human trafficking, as mandated by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000.
