CAFTA-DR Seeks Panelists for Dispute Settlement Rosters

The Dominican Republic-Central America-United States Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR) requires the establishment of four panels of dispute settlement experts, with separate panels for financial services, labor, and environment disputes, in addition to a general panel. The agreement mandates the creation of these panels to facilitate dispute resolution under the agreement's various chapters.
