Federal Communications Commission Launches Disaster Information Reporting System

The Federal Communications Commission's Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau has launched the Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS), a web-based platform for communications providers to report on communications infrastructure status and situational awareness during crises. This system aims to streamline reporting and facilitate quick sharing of network status information with the Commission.
