FDA Releases Draft Guidance for Industry on Allogeneic Pancreatic Islet Cell Products

The FDA has made available a draft document outlining considerations for manufacturers and researchers working on allogeneic pancreatic islet cell products, which are used to treat type 1 diabetes, to help establish the safety and efficacy of these products in clinical trials.
