FDA Publishes Draft Guidance for Full Field Digital Mammography System

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a draft guidance document outlining how full field digital mammography systems can meet the requirements for special controls under the Class II device category, in preparation for a proposed rule to reclassify these systems from Class III to Class II devices.
