FDA Reopens Comment Period for Absorbable Hemostatic Device Guidance and Proposed Rule

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is reopening the comment period for a draft guidance on an absorbable hemostatic device until October 14, 2008, to update comments and receive new information. The FDA is also reopening the comment period on a proposed rule to reclassify the device from class III to class II.
