Pilot Program To Evaluate Proposed Name Submissions; Concept Paper

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing the availability of a concept paper entitled "PDUFA Pilot Project Proprietary Name Review." The concept paper provides information to pharmaceutical firms about how to evaluate proposed propriety names and submit the data generated from those evaluations to FDA for review under an anticipated pilot program. FDA plans to begin enrollment in the pilot program in fiscal year (FY) 2009.

Proposed Data Collection Submitted for Public Comment and Recommendations

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as part of its continuing effort to reduce public burden and maximize the utility of government information, invites the general public and other federal agencies the opportunity to comment on a proposed information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice invites comment on a proposed information collection project titled Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement. The Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement provides rapid funding to help existing public health programs respond to major public health emergencies and crises.
