FDA Releases Draft Guidance on Anesthetics for Companion Animals

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a draft guidance document, FDA Guidance for Industry #192, which provides recommendations for the development of anesthetic new animal drug products for companion animals, focusing on animal safety, effectiveness, and labeling requirements for general anesthetics.
