Bureau of Prisons Adopts Final Rule on Searches of Inmates, Housing Units, and Electronic Devices

The Bureau of Prisons has finalized a rule allowing searches of inmates, housing units, and work areas for electronic devices, while withdrawing a proposal to expand searches of non-inmates, which will be addressed in a separate rule
