DEA Proposes Removal of Thresholds for Pseudoephedrine and Phenylpropanolamine
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is proposing to remove the thresholds for importation, exportation, and domestic distributions of pseudoephedrine and phenylpropanolamine, as part of its implementation of the Combat Methamphetamine Epidemic Act of 2005. This change aims to address the potential diversion of these chemicals and clarify regulations on transactions involving ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine.
