US Immigration Department Proposes Rule Change for Voluntary Departure

The US Department of Justice is proposing a rule change that would allow aliens to request a motion to reopen or reconsider their voluntary departure, but would also automatically terminate the grant if they file before the expiration of the allowed time period or if they file a petition for judicial review.
