DEA Finalizes Definition of 'Positional Isomer' for Schedule I Controlled Substances
The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has finalized a definition for 'positional isomer' to help determine the control status of certain substances, following a proposed rulemaking published in 2006. This definition will aid in the systematic identification of isomers of schedule I controlled substances, such as hallucinogens.
