U.S. Department of State Receives Application for International Rail Bridge Permit on U.S.-Mexico Border

The U.S. Department of State has received an application from Kansas City Southern for a Presidential permit to construct a new international rail bridge on the U.S.-Mexico border near Laredo, Texas, and Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, as part of the East Loop Bypass project, which aims to enhance corridor safety and improve rail crossing efficiency.
