U.S. Government Approves Importation of Samurai Artifacts for Temporary Exhibition

The U.S. government has determined that a collection of Japanese arms and armor, imported from abroad for a temporary exhibition, are culturally significant and in the national interest, to be displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from October 19, 2009, to January 10, 2010.
