Correction to Civil Penalty Inflation Adjustment Rule and Tables

The U.S. government has corrected an error in a previous rule change, which was published on May 16, 2006, and also made changes to a table published on August 16, 2006. The rule aims to adjust civil monetary penalties for inflation, as mandated by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990.
