FAA Adopts Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A318, A319, A320, and A321 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring Airbus Model A318, A319, A320, and A321 airplanes to undergo revisions to their flight manuals and perform a one-time hardness test to address concerns over the structural integrity of engine pylons.
