FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Gulfstream Model GV and GV-SP Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Gulfstream Model GV and GV-SP series airplanes, requiring repairs to the force link assembly wire harness to prevent a short circuit that could lead to reduced airplane controllability. The directive follows a report indicating that improper removal of the wiring outer jacket may have resulted in damaged wiring.
