U.S. Secretary Amends Title I Regulations to Improve Academic Achievement of Disadvantaged Students

The U.S. Secretary has updated the regulations governing Title I programs to enhance accountability for the academic performance of limited English proficient students and implement changes to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as mandated by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
